Trims and Features of the 2020 Toyota Yaris
There are five trims available in the 2020 Toyota Yaris family, including three versions of the sedan and two hatchback styles. The sedan lineup starts with the L, followed by the LE and the XLE. The L is outfitted with a comprehensive infotainment system featuring Bluetooth, smartphone pairing, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. There are also two standard USB charging ports, which is particularly impressive for a base model. The L's exterior features attractive 15-inch wheels, a sporty front grille with mesh accents, and heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals powered by LED bulbs. More features are included further up the line. The LE gets a keyless entry and push-button start. Its exterior is also distinguished by 16-inch wheels. The LE has more LED lighting, including fog lights, and it also gets standard daytime running lights. The XLE has a more upscale interior complete with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and leatherette seats.
2020 Toyota Yaris Horsepower
All trim levels of the 2020 Yaris have the same engine, which is a 1.5L with four cylinders. This engine creates just over 105 HP and slightly more than 100 LB-FT of torque. The engine has one of two transmissions, which is either a six-speed automatic or a six-speed manual. The manual transmission is standard on the L and LE models of the sedan and hatchback, while the automatic transmission is standard on the XLE. The XLE can be ordered with the manual transmission, too. Front-wheel drive is the standard drivetrain across the entire 2020 Toyota Yaris lineup. Starting with the LE, you also have a choice of several driving modes, including Normal and Sport.
Safety of the 2020 Toyota Yaris

The Yaris comes standard with an advanced airbag system that has six airbags across the cabin. The Yaris also gets Toyota's advanced safety system with electronic stability control, dynamic stability control, which helps straighten the car if the wheels lose traction and more. Anti-lock braking and a brake override system are other standard safety features in the 2020 Toyota Yaris. The Yaris's list of driver-assist safety features includes automatic emergency braking at low speeds, forward collision avoidance, and more.
