Six Great Trims for the 2019 Toyota Tundra

There are a total of six Tundra trim levels in 2019. Each trim builds upon its predecessor's standard offerings. All trims have a variety of add-on amenities available too. The two body options are a regular (double) cab and a longer cab called the CrewMax.

The base model Tundra is the SR. This trim is attractive at first glance with its gray grille and bright LED lights. It also features heated outside mirrors and a liftgate that is easy to move up and down. Inside, the well-equipped cabin features a 6.1-inch driver infotainment screen with a premium sound system, an auxiliary port, and a USB port. Fabric-trimmed seats, which includes split-folding seats in the rear, are standard. You have the option to upgrade to vinyl-trimmed seats if you prefer. Three 12V power outlets - two in the front and one in the rear - keep devices and appliances charged and ready to go when they're needed. Even with the base model, you'll get the premier safety package called Toyota Safety Sense and other safety amenities.

Moving up to the SR5, the exterior has an even more distinct look with chrome accents and halogen fog lights. Front tow hooks and a skid plate are optional accessories for greater towing power. This model gets a larger seven-inch infotainment system with optional navigation. Its seats are fabric-trimmed and split-folding with an optional vinyl-trim upgrade. Extra storage beneath the seats and the capacity for six passengers round out the SR5 highlights. Next up is the Limited. This truck builds on the other two models' offerings with a chrome-accented silver grille, chrome heated side mirrors, dual zone climate control, an infotainment screen with navigation, and leather-trimmed seats that can move in 10 ways.

The Platinum trim adds to that list cargo area tie-downs, auto-dimming outside mirrors, variable intermittent wipers, and mudguards in the front and back. Perforated leather seats are standard, and a moonroof is optional. The 1794 Edition features a special badge, an integrated backup camera, and a premium sound system. A leather-trimmed steering wheel is a standard feature on this trim. On the top level TRD Pro, a tilt-slide moonroof is a standard feature. Front tow hooks and a TRD front skid plate are also included. Custom leather seats and an infotainment system with integrated navigation complete the TRD Pro standard amenities.
